There are a couple things to consider before you place your order. First, figure out what you
want to have printed. You can either provide your own logo/design or we can help you come
up with one. Screen printing is done one color at a time so the cost is dependent on
how many colors your design has. Next, figure out what type of apparel you want to have
printed. T-shirts are very common but we can also print sweatshirts, pants, bags, koozies, and
lots of other items. The final step is to figure out how many items you would like and what
sizes they will be. If you have your own items you can bring them in. If not, we can help you
find just about anything you might be looking for.
What is your turnaround time?
Please allow 7 days for your order to be completed. In most cases it will be completed in 3-5
days but we ask that you place your order 7 days prior to when you need it. We will contact
you as soon as your order is ready.
Do you accept rush orders?
We do accept rush orders. Whether or not we can accept your rush order depends on how quickly
you need your items and how busy we are. We will do everything we can to meet your deadline.
Rush fees may apply and will depend on your turnaround time and number of items. If you need
your order in less than 7 days please contact us right away so we can get started.
Is there a minimum order?
We ask for a minimum of 6 items. Screen printing involves a lot of setup so in most cases it
doesn't make sense to screen print fewer than 6 items. We do offer alternatives to screen
printing so if you just need a few items let us know and we'll help you find a solution.
What are my choices for ink color?
We keep a full range of ink colors in stock that you can choose from at no additional cost.
If you have a particular color in mind, such as a PMS color, or you need to match a specific
color we can order it for you. There is a $15 per color matching fee if you would like a color
that we don't keep in stock.
How is the cost determined?
Screen printing pricing is based on the number of items, the number of placements on each
item, and the number of colors in the design(s). When providing a price quote we will need to
know how many items you would like to have printed as well as how many locations we will be
printing and how many colors in each location. Quantity price breaks apply at 12, 24, 48, 144,
and 288 items.
We will need to create a screen for each color in each location of your design. So if your
design has 3 colors it will require 3 screens. If you are printing 2 locations, such as a
front and back of a shirt, each placement requires it's own set of screens. So if you have a 2
color front design and a 3 color back design it will require a total of 5 screens.
Other charges may apply if your order contains large sizes (2XL and up) or if you are printing
on an unusual fabric, such as mesh. If we are purchasing shirts or sweatshirts though us
please keep in mind that light colored shirts are generally less expensive than dark colors.
Sales tax will apply unless you have a resale certificate.
Can I mix up the styles and colors of my items?
As long as they're all being printed with the same design, items of varying sizes, styles, and
colors are all considered to be part of the same order. In other words, if you're printing 12
black t-shirts, 12 white t-shirts, and 12 black sweatshirts all with the exact same design
then you would be priced for 36 items. Please keep in mind that this does not apply to items
being printed with the same design but in different colors.
Can I mix up the colors being printed on my items?
If you would like to print the same design but in different colors there is a $10 color change
fee per color. For instance, if you have a design you want printed in white on black shirts
and black on white shirts there would be one color change fee. However, because the design is
not changing this still be considered the same design so additional screen charges would not
apply. Confused? Just give us a call and we'll answer any questions you may have.
For first time orders setup fees include screen charges and, if applicable, art charges. We
charge $20 per screen. If you provide print ready art there are no art charges. If you provide
art that needs to be revised or if you would like us to create your artwork there will be an
art charge at a rate of $24 per hour. For reorders the screen charges are $10 per screen
unless you order at least 48 items, in which case the charges are waived.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
We offer wholesale accounts for licensed apparel business owners. You will be asked to provide your resale
certificate when applying for a wholesale account. Please contact us if you are interested in opening an account with us.
How do I send you my logo?
You can email your logo to info@yourcustomexpress.com. If it is too large to send through an
email you can stop by the store with a CD or flash drive containging the artwork. If you do
not have your logo in a digital format please come into the store with whatever materials you
have and we'll try to make it work.
Will you send me a proof?
Yes. Unless you specify that a proof is not necessary we will send you a proof of your design
by email. When you receive the proof we ask that you reply to the email either with changes
you would like to make or with a quick note letting us know the design is approved. If you are
unable to check email you're welcome to come by the store to view your proof.
When do I pay and what payment methods do you accept?
We ask that you pay for your order at the time it is placed. If you would like to see a sample before
placing an order or if we are creating a design for you, you may pay for art up front and the remainder
of the charges when placing the order. We accept cash, credit card, debit card, and money order. We also
accept personal checks however we are unable to begin work on orders paid for by check until the check has cleared.
Yes. If you order at least 48 more of a design that we have previously printed for you there
are no additional charges. If you are ordering less then 48 items or if you would like to make
changes to the design charges may apply. We keep all artwork on file for at least one year.
